EnergyL

EnergyL allows energy modeled by EnergyX (or equivalent) to be visualized in simulations or games. Since many problems with energy are difficult to visualize, EnergyL allows a new dimension to piercing the veil of opacity obscuring complex energy-environment interactions. This allows real-world problems to be solved more intuitively and accurately, e.g. rapid prototyping and improvement of any emitter or sensor, such as WiFi hotspots.

Classic visualization is bounded by making things look “right,” even if that means adjusting physics data inaccurately. EnergyL starts with an energy visualization model where the most important criterion is being accurate, not just looking right.

Key goals in EnergyL design:

  • Efficiency: EnergyL displays accurate energy flows over environments without modeling every particle emitted from a source, allowing for very efficient and real-time display.
  • Layer Effect: Modular design allows for energy sources, physics, or environmental factors to be added or removed easily to display only the relevant energies and energy effects.
  • Flexibility: EnergyL works with EnergyX as a data source or any other modeling engine using its APIs.
