Government
InVisM is an easy choice for government departments and agencies charged with training and maintaining a large, highly-skilled workforce, capable of critical thinking and peak performance in stressful conditions.
The U.S. Army, for example, needs to rapidly and effectively train soldiers to make decisions based on knowledge of foreign cultures, particularly in the Middle East. Toward that end, InVisM created the Immersive Culture Simulation application. The live-action immersive and interactive video safely exposes soldiers to real-world situations that involve stress, emotions and consequences of instant life-or-death decisions.
With our proprietary software, RealityV, we combine the science of adult learning, high-definition live-action video and engaging storytelling. The result is a compelling training module—accessible over the internet, a standalone computer or any mobile device—that immerses the trainee in an individual- or team-playing scenario. The trainee interacts with the action and is given repeated chances to make decisions. A series of after-action reviews teach the trainee the consequences of those choices. Additionally, RealityV's architecture allows use of multiple media (audio, video, text, maps, and imagery). These embedded interactive media capabilities can be used to further enhance the user experience by executing various types of immersive activities within the training product.
For all of our clients, we work with them and industry experts to weave together a storyline that includes best practices and training objectives. Trainees are immersed in the RealityV world, where they explore and come to understand ethics, leadership skills, negotiation strategies, security issues, and cultural awareness.
The portability and serial nature of InVisM training modules keeps trainees engaged, minimizes travel costs and encourages completion.
